ServoTech is a technology retailer specialising in computers, laptops, security cameras, surveillance systems, networking equipment, smart home technology and electronic accessories.
Datira Systems developed a custom e-commerce platform designed to support both the customer-facing shopping experience and the operational requirements behind a growing technology retail business.
The project brings together product discovery, guided computer configuration, supplier-connected catalogue management, order processing, customer information and business analytics within a connected digital ecosystem.
Technology retail presents challenges that go well beyond displaying products on a website. A modern electronics retailer needs to manage an extensive catalogue, organise technical categories, process supplier information and still give customers a straightforward purchasing experience.
Internal teams also need visibility into orders, products, customer activity and commercial performance. The objective was one unified platform that could support these interconnected requirements without compromising usability or maintainability.
Datira Systems designed and developed a custom e-commerce ecosystem that connects customer-facing commerce with the internal systems required to manage a substantial product catalogue and day-to-day retail activity.
The live storefront is a Next.js and React application with TypeScript, built for a technology catalogue covering computers, gaming systems, laptops, components, surveillance equipment, networking, smart home products and accessories.
Customers can search, browse structured categories, open product detail pages and move through a purchasing journey designed for clear navigation on desktop, tablet and mobile. The architecture supports product management, commerce functionality and continued development.
Rather than asking customers to navigate numerous hardware categories on their own, the PC Builder provides a guided selection experience. Visitors specify intended use, budget and computing needs — including gaming, office work, graphic design, video editing, programming and AI-related workloads — and receive configuration recommendations aligned to those answers.

A step-by-step flow covers intended use, budget and requirements, then presents suitable computer options.
Business value: Customers who need help selecting hardware can explore configurations without assembling a parts list from scratch.
Beyond the storefront. A connected system for managing retail operations.
More than an e-commerce administration panel, the ServoTech dashboard connects essential retail operations within a centralised management environment.
From order processing and catalogue management to customer information, marketing communication and business reporting, the platform brings key operational functions together in one connected system — designed around the retailer’s workflows to simplify day-to-day management and improve visibility across the business.

Overview panels for revenue, orders, visitor activity and product performance, with charts and summaries that support commercial review.
Business value: Leadership and operations staff can orient around sales and traffic patterns without exporting data from multiple tools.
Centralised order lists with status tracking from placement through fulfilment, linked to the storefront checkout flow.
Business value: Customer purchases stay connected to the same system used to process and monitor orders internally.
Customer profiles and order history within the administration environment.
Business value: Support and sales follow-up can reference account context in one place rather than scattered records.
Campaign and communication tools for reaching customers from the retail platform.
Business value: Marketing activity can sit alongside commerce data instead of relying on a disconnected mailing tool.
Product, category and inventory-oriented tools aligned with supplier-fed catalogue workflows.
Business value: The team can maintain the catalogue that powers the public store from the same operational hub.
Support-oriented views for organising customer enquiries and service requests.
Business value: Post-sale communication can be coordinated with orders and customer records already in the system.

Behind the storefront, Datira Systems connected supplier data and order processing so catalogue updates and customer purchases feed the same operational environment as the administration dashboard.
Product-processing workflows handle differences between supplier records, identifiers, categories, images and inventory information from external sources including Neksio and Treco.
Business value: A more structured approach to maintaining catalogue data across multiple sources, instead of managing each feed as a separate process.
The implemented ordering flow includes a shopping cart, checkout and cash-on-delivery purchases, with server-side order processing and safeguards for repeated checkout requests. Order information is connected to the administration environment.
Business value: The business can receive and manage customer orders inside its own digital infrastructure.
Search visibility is an ongoing part of the ServoTech project. The platform includes technical SEO foundations — product-specific metadata, canonical URLs, XML sitemaps, structured product data and a search-oriented category architecture — with continued work on SEO, GEO and AEO.
Technical foundations cover product and category metadata, crawlable architecture and search presentation so customers can move from a product question to the matching catalogue page.
Business value: A structured basis for organic discovery, without treating launch as the end of search work.
Brand, product categories and service context are named clearly so ServoTech can be understood as a specific technology retailer rather than a generic storefront.
Business value: Clear entity information gives search and answer systems a factual description of the business and its catalogue.
Category structure, product information and the PC Builder questions are organised so common buying questions — what to buy, for which use, at which budget — can be answered from the platform itself.
Business value: Visitors and search systems can follow a product question through to a relevant category or configuration path.
ServoTech is a live platform. Datira Systems continues to support technical SEO, product discoverability, business operations and platform reliability as the retail system evolves.
